Please join us for an afternoon of Pride Art Celebration organized by SOS ART in partnership with Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati and with the support of Treehouse. This art event will feature the voices of our greater Cincinnati creatives reflecting on the theme of LGBTQIA+. It will include poetry and word readings by 12+ local literary artists, flow dance by Astro Sparks & Spin Bopper, dance video by Pones, artworks with a walk and talk by the participating 30+ visual artists, the musical”Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens ” by Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, and much more.
Program of Events:
3-4:30pm: Word Art (poetry, story telling, etc.) by 12+ local word artists and Flow
dance by Astro Sparks & Spin Bopper
4:30-4:45pm: Break
4:45-5:30pm: Dance Video by Pones, Music, and Visual Art Walk and Talk by 30+
local visual artists
5:30-6pm: Reception; social hour
6-8pm: Musical “Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens” by Ensemble
