Featuring c:n solo musicians on works in dialogue with solo artists.
Join concert:nova for an evening of music composed for solo instruments by Debussy, Hindemith, Yun, Stockhausen and Bach as we explore themes of solitude, individuality, and ultimately, connectedness. Each work will feature an interdisciplinary collaboration that responds and provides perspective on these themes. Poetic interludes drawn from Mary Oliver, Lisel Mueller, Derek Walcott, and others will be given by Pauletta Hansel, poet laureate of Cincinnati, to frame the evening.
