Our week-long summer camps, for young people in 4th-12th grades, combine the art of writing and other modes of artistic enrichment to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression.
Theme: Write it! Read it! Speak it! Slam it!
It has been a year! What has emerged in you? Join us to explore the power of writing and performance of spoken word poetry as a way of expressing the wide range of emotions and challenges we might be experiencing now. Together we will create original poems and spoken word pieces in different genres while going deeper into our own emotions and discovering our authentic voices. No experience in poetic forms or performance is needed. Just bring an open mind, willing spirit, and ability to laugh. Try something new in a supportive, non-competitive space where you can find YOUR VOICE.
Our week-long summer camps, for young people in 4th-12th grades, combine the art of writing and other modes of artistic enrichment to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Programs are designed to help strengthen participants’ authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and community-building, and deepen their belief in their own creative intelligence.
Our camps are open to young people of marginalized genders, including young women, non-binary folks, and trans youth of all genders.
COVID-19 PROTOCOL FOR IN-PERSON CAMPS: Our in-person camps will adhere to the most up-to-date safety protocols and recommendations as provided by the State of Ohio. This includes reducing the maximum number of participants per camp.

ADMISSION INFO
Tuition is $270. In order to reserve your place, a deposit of $50 is required at the time of registration. Full payment for the program is due within 14 days of the first day of camp.
