This camp will provide performers the opportunity to learn and perform top pop songs from the Billboard list.
Learning to sing in the style of current pop songs is a technique that can be taught, and students will be given the tools to accomplish that goal. In addition to learning music, students will learn choreography for their pieces in preparation for their final filmed showcase on Friday.
Masks will be required for everyone inside the building. Masks must cover nose and mouth and be able to be shaped around the bridge of the nose. Students should wear closed-toe shoes (no crocs) OR bring black jazz shoes (no laces) every day. Students will also need a lunch, snacks, a water bottle, highlighter and pencil every day too! No live performances of Showcase. Showcase will be filmed in class on Friday afternoon and sent out after editing.
