Turn junk into art! See how sticks can be turned into a sculpture, hear a story about making a “thingamabob” piece of art by reusing materials you already have, and make your own “thingamabob.”
Taft Jr. welcomes visitors 3–5 years old, along with their caregivers, every first Thursday from September through May. Pre-schoolers have fun with their favorite adults during this interactive experience. Each program features a story time, a close-up with a work of art, and art-making.
