Southern Gateway Chorus, a premier men’s a Cappella group which has called Cincinnati home for the past 60 years, has been chosen to be the opening act for Vocalosity!
From the creative mind of Deke Sharon who brought you Pitch Perfect andThe Sing-Off, comes a group of twelve amazing voices that is sure to blow you away!
Vocalosity has taken their performance to a whole new dimension by creating their own unique style of music blended with fun choreography, comedy and plenty of audience interaction. Their family-friendly show features a light hearted, high-energy combination of vocal harmonies for any age group. Vocalosity is sure to inspire, motivate and entertain anyone!
No genre of music is off limits in the world of a cappella and Vocalosity will explore them all – from tenth century Gregorian chant and classic choral, to barber shop quartet and bouncing doo-wop all the way to The Beatles and Bruno Mars. Combine that with movement and choreography from Sean Curran (Stomp original cast member) and you have an exhilarating evening of song unlike anything you’ve ever seen or heard, live on stage.
