Debora Myles, winner of the 8th annual CCAC Golden Ticket juried exhibition, presents “what they wore”, a body of work inspired by found children’s garments. Using handmade paper, paint, ink, thread and other ephemeral materials, the artist creates portraits of discarded, lost, tossed, misplaced, displaced, rejected and/or abused clothing in hope of evoking feelings and questions about the absent body.
