Women in Nature Opening Reception

In the year our country celebrates the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, the Lloyd Library’s spring exhibition, Women and Nature in the Arts, Sciences and Letters, opens on March 6. It is a tribute to the female scientists, authors, artists, and illustrators represented in the Lloyd collections.The exhibition will feature works by naturalists, botanists, mycologists, horticulturists, and explorers, including pioneers of scientific illustration.
