Join facilitators from Women Writing for (a) Change to discover artworks then write your reflections through a directed prompt.

Registration required through Women Writing for (a) Change.
$35 per person
Discover the connections between writing and art. Visitors will meet facilitators from Women Writing for (a) Change and a trained museum docent on the yellow couches in the Schmiddlapp Gallery (Gallery 151). Visitors will take a tour of an exhibition; attendees of this program will then write a poem or essay based on the artwork they encountered. Afterward, participants are encouraged to share their work with each other.
This program is for all genders ages 16+. New and experienced writers are welcome. Bring your favorite writing materials or use the supplies provided.

Parking: FREE. Bike Racks are available outside the Main Entrance of the Art Museum. Hook up to one of our Marcel Duchamp-inspired racks during your visit! Accessible Parking is available in our north parking lot, just past the main visitor parking lot and entrance. Wheelchair + Stroller Entry is available via our DeWitt Entrance, on the east side of the museum, near the accessible parking. Access to the Mary R. Schiff Library + Archives is available via our Castellini Foundation Entrance, just to the right of the main entrance on the west side of the building.
