Vulcan's Forge Performing Arts Collaborative

Vulcan’s Forge Performing Arts Collaborative serves artists challenged with disabilities, mental physical and emotional, to have their work presented to Greater Cincinnati while providing an environment where artists, both with and without disabilities can fellowship and share their passions. Vulcan’s Forge enlists the plays, poems, and stories of writers of all abilities who want to speak about their experiences with disability and have their work produced in public forums. All the talents of these diverse artisans serve as a backdrop to those disabled actors and dancers yearning for an arena in which to exert their craft, make their mark, and tell their story. Vulcan’s Forge culminates these talents and skills into pieces of cohesive, collective, performance art, while allowing everyone in the disabled community to participate, and everyone in the general community to admire while creating a bond between all artists within the Greater Cincinnati area who want to expand their worlds by reaching out and sharing with those who have differences. Vulcan’s Forge seeks inclusion for the disabled community of all races, ethnicities, sexes, and identities, championed by its arts. While the primary goal of Vulcan’s Forge is the production and exhibition of the art of disabled artists facilitated by the Greater Cincinnati arts community, our secondary goal is to justly compensate all our artists.
