Support Cincy arts and get a year of experiences at 100+ arts organizations, restaurants and shops across the region!

We are community of writing circles that inspire creative self-expression, encourage the inner voice and spark the writer within. Now in our third decade, Women Writing for (a) Change honors our founding purpose to support and celebrate the voices and stories of women and girls. Additionally, we offer classes for all genders. Outreach in the community includes programs for urban girls, women who have experienced domestic violence and teens in Cincinnati Public Schools who are experiencing or at risk for homelessness.

What it’s like to write with us:

We Connect in Circles
We come together in circles that include both new and experienced writers and listeners. Everyone enjoys equal time to write, share, and receive positive feedback and encouragement in a non-competitive, non-judgmental atmosphere.

Your Unique Voice Matters
Find validation and inspiration. Through writing and sharing with others, nurture your voice, speak your truth, and share your words in a confidential setting.

Small Group Time
Grow, learn, and become more confident. Each writing class includes time to gather in groups of three to five, to share your writing and receive the feedback you request.

Join Us!
Never written? Can’t stop? All writers, from novice to experienced and all genres—poetry, journal writing, fiction, non-fiction, memoir, drama, humor, essay, you name it!—are welcome.
