Comedy @ Commonwealth Presents: KC SHORNIMA

KC is a comedian and writer based out of New York. She’s currently a staff writer on Saturday Night Live, writing for the Weekend Update segment of the show, and previously wrote for Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out the News. She was selected for the JFL 2022 New Faces showcase in Montreal, and has performed at comedy festivals across the country including Moontower Just for Laughs. She was named the Best Up-and-Coming Comedian in Nashville by the Nashville Scene Magazine, and was a semifinalist for Stand-up NBC. She has also written and performed on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network.

Comedy @ Commonwealth, Northern Kentucky’s newest comedy club, is housed in Commonwealth Sanctuary, the historic, former Tower Methodist Church, built in 1914. The original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews are all still on site. Now, in its new life as a Community Events Venue, this beautiful old building hosts the best stand-up comedy, music, theater, and cinema that you can find in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area. The facility features a full sound system, programmable stage lighting, a 150-inch rear projection movie screen, and a concession stand where we serve a full menu, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
