The Westheimer Gallery at the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center is pleased to welcome artist Cathy Fiorelli for the month of May 2022.
The Westheimer Gallery is pleased to present the work of Cathy Fiorelli for the month of May 2022, with her solo exhibition I Think, Therefore I Paint.
A native of Wichita Kansas and alumna of Wichita State University, Cathy Fiorelli has been a resident of Ohio since 1989. Cathy has been creating art all her life, beginning with a more representational style and transitioning to abstract art.
“I challenge myself to deconstruct the world around me into a visual display based upon my imagination. I re-arrange my perception of reality into organic shapes, energizing the resulting composition with selective designs. The building blocks for this effort are shape and color. My goal is to present an intuitive reality.
My background in printmaking, specifically intaglio and block prints, is the catalyst for employing textural enhancements along with bold applications of color.” – Cathy Fiorelli
Join us for FIRST FRIDAY May 6 from 5:30 – 7:30pm for an opening reception (free and open to the public). Meet the Artist and enjoy complimentary wine and refreshments. Drinks purchased through the downtown Sharonville DORA are also welcome in the Gallery.

PARKING: Parking is available in the SCAC lot at the corner of Reading Rd and Walnut St, on our building's south side. Additional free public parking is available in City of Sharonville lots, located around the corner on Walnut behind Cliff Hardware, as well as behind PNC Bank at Reading Rd and Creek Rd.
DIRECTIONS: From I-275: Take exit 46 to Lebanon Rd (US-42). Head south on US 42. Stay to the right on Reading Road. Turn right at Walnut Street.
From I-75: Take exit 15 to head east on Sharon Road. Follow to the left onto Main Street (one-way). Turn left on Walnut Street.
