This artist talk by Austen Brantley for his exhibition “Faith Moves Mountains” will take place on Friday, September 22nd from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
Join us on Friday, September 22nd for our artist talk and reception for the exhibition “Faith Moves Mountains” by Austen Brantley.
Self-taught ceramic sculptor, Austen Brantley creates expertly crafted, dream-like figurative sculptures. Primarily depicting Black subjects, Brantley’s works are an investigation into representation which seek to highlight the poetic meaning in the everyday lives of his subjects. A mid-career artist, Brantley has exhibited his work in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio. He currently lives and works as a full-time artist in Detroit, MI.

“Faith Moves Mountains” will be exhibited at the Gallery at Studeō PAR- September 22nd – November 25th. The gallery is currently open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 11:00am – 3:00pm.

We have a small parking lot, located right outside of the building. Street parking is also available.
For events starting after 6PM, parking is available next door — in the John Hall Auto parking lot — until 2AM. Any vehicles left in the lot after 2AM will be towed at the violator's expense.
