Lori Larusso
Please join us for an informal and informative Gallery Talk with exhibiting artist Lori Larusso.
Join us Wednesday, June 29 at 7pm for a conversation with Lori Larusso.
In her painting installation, Precarious Panoply, Larusso (Louisville, KY) explores humans’ paradoxical relationships with the animals that exist closest to us. From pets to synanthropes (non-domesticated animals that thrive alongside humans and our built environments), Larusso’s work highlights the tenuous line between attraction and revulsion that shapes our relationship to the different species of animals in our lives.
The exhibition runs from June 17-August 28, 2022.
The Weston’s annual Gallery Talk Series of public lectures and informal talks provides a rare opportunity for the public to meet the presenting artists and enjoy the ensuing dialogue. Every Gallery Talk provides a unique insight into the passion, curiosity, materials, and creative process of each artist and their discipline. All talks are FREE and open to the public. Refreshments are provided.
