Opening Night: The History of Graffiti Pt 1

Take a journey through the history of graffiti with one of its early pioneers, David Gerena. From the scribbles on the New York City walls and trains in the 1980’s, to today’s worldwide phenomenon, The History of Graffiti Pt 1 takes us to the past, to witness the evolution of an art form, and brings us to the present, with the birth of a new style, Figurative Graffiti!

Those attending the show’s opening will have a special opportunity to appear in Gerena’s documentary feature of the same name, chronicling the transformation of the art form over the past four decades.
