Enjoy a day of painting and self-expression with Columbus-based artist Lance Johnson!
Join us for a free Hello & Welcome Community Day at Kennedy Heights Arts Center on Saturday, August 27 from 11am to 3pm. Enjoy a day of painting and self-expression! Lance Johnson, a Columbus-based artist with roots in graffiti and street art, will collaborate with local youth to layer vibrant colors, textures, and words of inspiration on a large cube structure installed on the front lawn of the arts center. During this Hello & Welcome Community Day, residents will be invited to lift their voices and add their mark! We’ll also have delicious refreshments, hip hop music, and other activities to encourage interaction between neighbors.
